July 31, 2005 - Sunday

At 1 p.m. in the terrific heat the ceremonial prize-giving started. We kept it near the beach, in the children's sand-player which was protected of the sun. The first ones stepping on the podium were the children. After that we awarded the grown-ups as well as individuals and members of a team.  WE tried to make as short as possible, but the number of the participants didn't allow it.  We, the organizers, just like the viewers  jumped into the lake. We awarded the leaders of the games, as well as the captains of the teams.

The challenge cup was given to the non-Szeged-residents once again. The seconds were the group of Szeged. The third place was occupied by the Foreigners team!

Congratulations to all!

See you next year in  the same place and in the same time!

July 30, 2005 - Saturday

We awoke once again to an incredibly hot day. The heatwave raged. So, we organized the adult swimming championship in the morning. Among the males the winner was a man from the Netherlands, while in female category a non- Szeged -resident Hungarian woman won. Before this the grown-ups had  the possibility to show their ability in the high-jump and in long-jump. The participants had jump to/over incredible distance/highs! Congratulations for their achievements and for their persistence!

This was followed by the proof of the stamina: the push ups.

In the afternoon the beer - drinking competition got started. The main idea of it is: who is able to drink a bottle of beer with a nipple. The winner was Ricky from Florida.

The body-painting competition was the next event. We have to admit, the juries task was extremely difficult!  One work was more beautiful and more artistic than the another. We had seen Dance of Fire, Zebra, Garden of Flowers, Pumukli and even the Day and the Night stepped by. The winner was the reproduction of  van Gogh's painting intitulated Sunflowers.  Congratulation!

At the end of the day we had a disco as a closing of the Sportsweek.

July 29, 2005 - Friday

Friday is for children in the Sportsweek!

We organized competitions for children in two phases. From 10 a.m. the 100 m running got started. Even one or two years old children did compete. Although they stood in their parents arms, who had run the distance this way. The next one was the long-jump. The winner in "children under the age of 10 years" category was Attila with an almost 3 m jump! From the category "above the age of 10" the winner was Pepyn from the Netherlands. This was followed by the push-ups and the high-jump. Both the little and the older children were doing the task very good!

After a little break the swimming competition took place near the buoy, in the shallow water. Everybody enjoyed it in the enormous heat of 36° C!

We continued after 5 p.m. The first was the Mini Sziki Sumo. The fights were strong. Only difference to real Sumo: Nobody could lift his or her opponent at his/her belt out of the ring, because obviously there was none!

At apple eating which is far from being easy everyone did his/her best to eat the hanging apples without touching them. The most persistent was little Maya, who didn't wanted to give up eating her apple, even though the winner was already announced!

A new event was followed by this: the ice-spitting! The main idea of it is: who is able to spit further an ice cube. There were a few funny scene, when some ice cubes weren't willing to leave the participants mouth!

Today's most popular game was the throwing of the balloons filled with water. The pairs had to throw towards each other while walking backwards to opposite directions. Of course, with the remaining balloons a war get started!

The day ended with an arm wrestling competition both for adults and children.

At night we will continue with the karaoke, hoping that its success would be similar to the last one! We may discover some Megastars!

July 28, 2005 - Thursday

Last night's Karaoke ended in a tremendous party, that lasted till 4 a.m. We had seen professional shows from participants of all nations. We had heard Rolling Stones hits, as well as songs from Charley and Irígy Hónaljmirigy. There were individual numbers as well as duos.

The competition took place in the tent. It was really hot in there, because at least three dozen people were in! We had torn water on each other, and danced till dawn.

This day started hard.

The weather was extremely hot. We had to postpone the sports -events till the afternoon.

They got started at 3 p.m.

The first competition was the heavy ball throwing. As usual everyone wanted to subscribe minutes before the event. Important is that the teams were represented!

In the ladies category the winner was Müller Bea with an 8,1 m throw! Among the man Laci was proven to be the best with his 12,5 m score!

We continued with some programs for the little ones.  There was hullahopp ring- spinning, running in bags and the still very popular bread and jam eating. Just like last year for those who were interested in Engi Laci had presented the benefits of the Brain Control on the beach.

 After 7 p.m. some movies were projected with English and Dutch subtitles.

July 27, 2005 - Wednesday

Even in the early morning the weather was hot. This made a bit difficult the 5000 m runners task. The age of the participants varied between 11 and 68 years. At half way we were expecting the competitors with refreshments. They were truly needed.

The blue ribbon of the 1st place was given to Joris Lucas, who represented the foreigner's team. Engi Tamás from Szeged arrived only with a slightly 2 seconds afterwards. The third place is occupied by Guti Ferenc. Herczeg Niki, a 14 years old girl, had run in the grown-ups category. She finished the race with an outstanding time! The scheduled events had been postponed until afternoon because of the extremely hot weather. The table-tennis, the turul, and the chess tournaments were continued .At 3 p.m. the Trabant-pushing got started. Navigators were needed. A Hungarian fellow and the well-known Jack from Holland accepted the challenge. As an additional weight he took with himself a couple of beers. The fastest was Jaapi. We kept on with the tug-of-war of the adults. The three teams competed against each other in two categories: women and men. In both category the non-in-Szeged-resident team had won. After a little break the field-running got started. Szeged's team did not show much enthusiasm so Orsi, the organizer, stepped into to earn some points!

The day ended with a Karaoke-competition.

July 26, 2005 - Tuesday

When we woke up, the sun was shining brightly. At midday the temperature rose up to 30 degree. Under the willow-trees in the cold shadow the petanque (Bachie Ball) was started.

The table tennis competition and the chess tournament continued today.

Under the guidance of Soma the billiard games were started.

The children had already finished the turul games. Tomorrow will come the adults chance to prove their ability.

The enthusiastic guests helped to build a field for feet tennis. We brought in turns the cooling refreshments in the form of beer. This helped the working process. There is not much work left. Keep the faith, guys!

For our guests, who were hungry for some movements, the badminton championship was announced. Both the children and the grown-ups subscribed to various sports.

There was a 12 years old boy who requested to be moved into the adults- category. His reason was that he is almost a professional in badminton.

July 25, 2005 - Monday

The International Naturist Sport-meeting was organized for the 17th occasion. The programs were presented during a ceremonial opening. The weather was wonderful. The teams and their captains were introduced.

Just like last year three teams are competing against each other. One team is made of  foreigner guests. The second team consists of the Szeged guests. The third one is made of Hungarians who live in different parts of Hungary, other than Szeged.

Szeged team's captains are Miklós Laci and Szalkai Jani, who is also our beloved sport commentator.

Their name is Dream-Team J

Those Hungarians who live outside Szeged are led once again by Herczeg Fecó and Bathári Pisti. They go into the battle with the name: Pudding Beaters

The leaders of the foreigner Guests are Berry Lucas and Lothar Mosbach. Their name is Golden Pineapple.

After the technical/administrative parts were presented Orsi, Marika, Gyöngyi along with Lilla and Csilla sang a song intitulated "A little movement is needed by everyone...". Lilla kept a little warm-up.

No one wanted to miss his/her chance to subscribe for the sport-events. The reception was assaulted.

The table-tennis and the chess have already started!
